Test of character for Lesiba at the World Cross-Country Championships

Lesiba Precious Mashele represented our country at the world cross-country championships held in Kampala this past Sunday. On a hot, East-African day resulting in many runners collapsing right at the finish line, Lesiba finished 56th in the 10km senior competition. The South African senior team came 9th overall. Expect to see Lesiba doing well in road running event in the near future.
