On the final day of the qualifying period, Precious MASHELE ran 13:11.65, taking seven seconds of his personal best of 13:18.70 which had been set in Cape Town a few weeks earlier. It's been a long and rough road but he finally booked his place for Tokyo Olympics 2021.
