Big ups to Precious Mashele and Desmond Mokgobu for finishing 3rd (1:01.21) and 6th (1:01.55) respectively at the South African Half Marathon Championships in Port Elizabeth today.

Mashele wins 10kms ahead of next month's SA 21k championships
A good day for our boys at CGA XC league meeting at Delta Park with Precious Mashele winning the 4km and Maxime Chaumeton finishing 4th.
Tshepiso Kati came in 5th in the senior men 10km.

This is after winning the 5000m(14:05 altitude) at the SA Track and Field 5000m today in Germiston. Desmond Mokgobu finished 3rd. Maxime Chaumeton ran a PB of 3:51 in the 1500m.

National champion Precious Mashele delivered the best individual performance of the overall South African team at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark on Saturday.
After winning the SA title last September, Mashele solidified his place at the best XC runner in the country by winning the trials on 19 January in Pretoria.
Des gave a good account of himself as he was set to defend his title at Beppu Oita by clocking 2:10:42 and finishing 9th overall.
